On Mother’s Day I was able to experience the excellent food, hospitality, and atmosphere at the Whistlestop. Holly and Liz prepared awesome drinks. My mimosa was perfect. Each dish in the photos below was well prepared by the chef and plated beautifully. Well done, Whistlestop!

My husband and I recently visited Whistle Stop, and I can confidently say it exceeded every expectation we had. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and at ease—the atmosphere was not only warm and friendly but also had a noticeable sense of safety that’s hard to come by in many places these days. One of the standout things about Whistle Stop is how it perfectly balances that classic southern charm with a level of sophistication you rarely find in the area. It’s not just a place to eat—it’s an experience. The attention to detail, from the decor to the service, made it feel like we’d stepped into a little southern oasis, where everything just felt right. Whether you’re visiting for a relaxing date night, like we were, or just looking for somewhere that delivers great food and a cozy yet refined vibe, Whistle Stop truly hits the mark. We left feeling happy, full, and already planning our next visit. Highly recommend!

What a great find! The ambiance and decor were very welcoming. Space inside and outside available. I appreciate that the live music inside was a low volume so we could still converse during dinner. Wedge salad 5/5! Perfection. Croquettes 4/5. Great flavors but a little dry on the inside. Pasta Bolognese 5/5. Lots of meat and cheese. Good portion. Ribeye 5/5 perfectly cooked full of flavor. Baked potatoes 5/5 the perfect baked potato does exist. Sirloin 5/5. It arrived medium even though we asked for medium rare. Sent it back and the second steak was AMAZING. Perfectly cooked. Great service and great management. Will come back often anytime we’re up at Cedar Creek

Atmosphere inside and outside was amazing. The staff was friendly and attentive. Food was presented beautifully. I had the shrimp baja tacos which were decent but the slaw was dry and there wasn't enough baja sauce to help so it was pretty dry. It either needed less slaw or more sauce. Prices were pretty high, roughly 16 a plate for most meals.

Whistle Stop is a delightful restaurant that consistently delivers delicious food. Whether for brunch or dinner, my experiences there have always been fantastic. Caleb, in particular, stands out as an exceptionally attentive server and bartender. Even when Taylor isn't directly serving me, her warm and welcoming smile makes every visit pleasant. For anyone seeking a great meal and wonderful staff, I highly recommend Whistle Stop.

Another great dinner. Fun lively music. Dinner was high quality and great. Katie, lucky enough to be our waitress, was amazing . So friendly and professional and made our evening special. We just moved to town and we’ve been trying all of the local restaurants. Our experience at Whistlestop was, by far, the best experience we’ve had so far. The service was top notch. Coursed perfectly. We were able to enjoy our appetizers, salads, dinner, and then desserts without feeling rushed but without waiting too long. This just became our go to spot.

Loved our time at Whistlestop! Our waiter, Brandon did an excellent job of steering us to their best prepared selections. For cocktails. the Old Fashion was a hit with hot honey! The risotto with short ribs and the chicken fried ribeye was oh so yummy! Don’t skip the rolls nor the chocolate cake. So good! Thanks for a great experience! Music was most enjoyable for a great Saturday night double date.
